Google launches 'right to be forgotten’ for EU

Fri 30th May 2014

Google faces a logistical challenge after a decision by the court of justice of the EU places them in a tricky position as they strive to interpret the EU's broad criteria for objectionable links and removal of certain content from its search engine while preserving its popularity as a resource for users to find all manner of information.

Failure to comply could ultimately result in Google being fined. This ruling will also affect Yahoo, Bing and other major search providers.
